Hi! I am Henri from Tartu and my dream is to be the next person in Estonia to bring an innovative success story to life. I enjoy solving problems and building different things. I would prefer a job that offers me challenges and excitement any time over a job with a high salary
Tell us three facts about you that people won’t be able to guess when they first meet you.
- I started with my first enterprise when i was 16 years old.
- Although I might seem as a shy person at first glance, I am really talkative.
- My favourite sport is downhill/alpine skiing and I have done it for 8 years now.
What do you like to do on your day off?
Because I am from Tartu I often visit my family there or spend time with my friends.
You are studying at EBS for the first year but you also studied Economy at Tartu University – What attracted you to continue your path at EBS?
I’ve got no bad words towards Tartu University. Lectors there are top notch but everything is really theorethical. I’m more interested in Start-up world and they didn’t talk about that at Tartu University much. However, EBS has a field of study of technology which is focuses exactly on that.
What is the most important thing that you have learnt through Wooch?
One of the most important lessons have been that nothing ever goes 100% like planned. You have to always prepare yourself for unexpected circumstances and also learn from your mistakes.
If you could pack your bags right now and a plane would take you to anywhere you wanted for a week, where would you go to and why?
Definitely there’s a lot of these kinds of destinations but the first one that popped into my head was Japan. It has a nice combination of the modern world and a rich history. Also the nature there seems so magnificent.
You can invite three people to dinner, living or dead. Who do you invite and why?
Elon Musk – An ingenious person who is building a better future. There would be so much to learn from him.
Richard Branson – He has built a gigantic business empire but he can also deal with so many other hobbies. I would like to know how he can manage to do all of these things.
Gordon Ramsay – Well, someone has to cook a wonderful dinner for the evening.
What kind of advice would you give to those who plan to start their own business?
Your first business doesn’t definitely have to be something really fantastic. Make lots of mistakes and learn from them because everything can’t always go as planned. Also make something that you believe in and find the people who have the same goal because it is much more fun working as a team.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Leading the next world changing Start-up company.
